The Bank Holiday weekend was a great way to finish ,with a nice ladies day event in Fairyhouse Grand National races and to be involved in ladies day what I like.They were lovely and a lot of Fashion came from idea of the day which was the hint of red,so I wore black and white dress that I made with the style of ”Sex and the City” fitted dress with one shoulder sleeve (I love it) and Iwore a head piece which was made specially for that occasion from the shop which is near me in Dunshaughlin called ‘‘Fortuna” to make me more cosy because it was a windy day I wore a red rap,hand knitted by my mam (they are very popular and i have a lot of different colours in my shops),So i was ready for the event.I love these events because you can see allot of fashions and a lot of brave statements and creations of other ladies to make them shine on the day too.So I was really Happy to see Rosanna Davison being a judge so we had a nice chat like old friends cause she remembered that we did modelling for the shop ”McElhinneys from Athboy” but I was really pleased to see a girl I know that won a competition,she’s a good customer of mine and she really looked well.I enjoyed the day and I had one win in the race so it was really cool So there is some photos for you to enjoy.

I I like doing Fashion shows,but I also like doing good at the same time.I participated in two Charity Fashion shows,one of the shows were in Trim Castle Hotel which was for down syndrome and the other was for Special Olympics In Palace night Club.
In Trim Castle Hotel the organizers were great because the show was being run flawlessly.I enjoyed it a lot because we were allowed to pick our own models to model the clothes so i chose myself and my nieces to do the job because we are all the same size so the clothes fit us nicely.My nieces are 17 years of age,but they made them clothes very nice.There was a lot of local boutiques that I work with and they recommend me to customers,which brings me allot of business because they trust my skills.
So we had a great time,the fashion show was very successful and it was very profitable for the charity.

The Palace Night Club for Special Olympics was well arranged…I enjoyed this event cause I had professional models to clothes which let me relax and showed me that my dresses look very well,so i was allowed to see people’s reaction while i was sitting in the audience,which was a good reaction.I love doing any work for Charity because i get a good feeling helping others and my work bringing other people happiness.

Hi Girls, thanks for visiting my blog again, I just wanted to tell you about my latest trip to RDS Horse Show,we were very lucky to get good weather for that day and the mood and colourful outfits were electric.I was wearing a dress made by me, as usual and my sister wore a dress made by me too.

For my dress I used material from magazine  ”Cadena” which I’m working with.I picked this material because of the interesting print and matching purple chiffon which made it easy for me to make a handmade headpiece to match.It was 100% guarantee that no other lady will wear that.My sisters dress was just as unique as my own it was made from coffee brown satin material with flowery print and hand made headpiece was made from it aswell.It was a great feeling to know that they both are unique and it gave us the confidence that we needed for that day because we’ve seen allot of other ladies with same outfits and that could pretty much ruin your day.

That was great way for us to check out what’s in style for ladies fashion any age,starting from little girls to…And of course it was nice to see nice gentlemen as well Well here’s  some nice pictures for you to enjoy…

I got a lovely birthday present from my sister, which was the tickets

to the National Concert Hall in Dublin, to see Vladimir Jablokov playing with

the Slovakian Orchestra.!!!! He was

amazing ! When we arrived to the National Concert Hall I was

expecting a great show,because I’ve heard great

things about him, and that’s exactly what I got and 150% more.

When the concert started,I was absolutely

awestruck,by the passion and love Vladimir Jablokov had for his

music.The way it almost seemed like him

and the violin we’re one single,musical instrument .

Of course the whole orchestra played

a big part in the concert too.They we’re all brilliant and I have to say I loved it!

I would love to see him again and I

Vladimir Jablokov,my sister Ruta and I.

On one lovely afternoon i got an invitation for Kilbeggan races, we had to get ready forladies day cause we knew there would be a lot of fashion and competitions,so we wanted to look our best. I made a unique,classic style dress for my sister. The dress was made from a material that she chose from the magazine ”Cadena” which is a company forfashion design which I’m working with.She chose the beautiful silk with printed flowers
and i made a hand made head piece matching her outfit.

Well…for myself I had an all black dress,but i wore it a few times before so i wanted to give ita new look,i added red satin which i love cause its my colour,then i added somelace flowers on neckline and done some hand beading.Well of course i had a black
matching handbag too,so i sewed a red satin flower and added some feathers to it to match the dress,i used the same colours for the head piece.So it was actually an

old dress but looked completely different,so sorry but charity box is not getting that

dress just yet because I re-designed it.I would advise any woman to do the same,

so come in and check it out what could YOU do with your old dress.

Anyway,when we went there,we saw lots of beautiful ladies with nice dresses

Well Ladies,I know summer is still here and hopefully will stay a while longer,but it’s time to think about our Autumn and Winter Wardrobe,because the new ”CADENA MODE” Autumn-Spring 2010/2011 has just arrived!!!I know we don’t want think about that yet,but Autumn is the gorgeous time for the weddings,DEBS or other special occasions.Well so we’d better get ready now because to make a special dress,I need at least 2 months to know before your Special day.Colours for this AUTUMN starting with warm rusty,orange,browns,deep greens,burgundy and finishing with strong wine reds,silver and gold tones.To add the GLAMOUR still in Fashion,girly bows,flower prints,polka dots or any types of stripes,what most times helps to make a slimmer and taller illusion.I can’t wait to make a lot of exciting new gowns for you,from new ”CADENA” MODE catalogue AUTUMN/WINTER 2010/2011  SEASON fabrics.It is not uploaded yet on the web,but I have it already,but keep checking and should come up soon,this is just a few examples of this SUMMER SEASON .

Intervention

On April 11th was such a sunny beautiful day when I was feeling like I want to go out, and it was a great idea to go to Dublin RDS to see XPOSE LIVE,I was hoping to see celebrities and TV Presenters.I got to meet the X-FACTOR FINALIST Stacey Solomon and Expose presenter Lisa Cannon.There was a great selection of High Fashion Boutiques.There were many great bargains,new fashion for the SPRING/SUMMER SEASON and the XPOSE FASHION SHOW 2010 gave us great ideas for the new coming SEASON.I loved the SPRING/SUMMER SEASON because there were many  bright colours and beautiful materials such as silk,chiffon and taffeta.Wedding dresses were a lot lighter,lots of lace and satin combinations were used.I enjoyed the day,especially meeting the XPOSE TV SHOW Presenter Lisa Cannon (a big fan of the show) and the great singer of  X-FACTOR Stacey Solomon,just like all of us girls love watching .Me and my sister enjoyed the day in full.

Great to have the a television show ‘’Of the rails’’ because it’s a great way of teaching us how to use fashion in everyday life.Its nice the way they prepared a show live in RDS.

The whole place was prepared very well and professional,lots of boutiques that reduced good quality product prices which made them great bargains.I liked the selection of a lot of beauty products and the way they demonstrated their use.We got great beauty tips and made lots of good shopping. J

Well…the organisers of TV show ‘’Off the rails’’did a great job the fashion show was magnificent and it was certainly entertaining.Lots of dancing was going on and communication with the audience.

There was a great range of dresses outfits with a great selection of colours,shades and styles,so we we’re able to pick favourite outfit from overall outfits.

The whole show was very organised,you don’t get a minute to be bored,there was always action going on,It was nice for the eye to see the beautiful ladies,and also the gorgeous men that made the audience to see more.

I’m sure all the ladies enjoyed it,I know I did.

That’s was a real girls day out.
